Having a first aid kit in your car.

Do you have a First Aid Kit in your car?

It is a good idea to keep a well-stocked first aid kit handy in your vehicle. It is good to be prepared for emergencies by carrying a first aid kit that could help keep a minor medical injury from becoming something more serious. Most first aid kits can be purchased from any pharmacy/drug store or auto parts supply store. We purchase ours and replenish/restock them from BWS Industries on Piner Rd in Santa Rosa and from Cintas for our shop kits. You can also find well stocked simple first kit on line at amazon.com

a few tips on fuel efficiency

Here are a few tips on how to save fuel in your car or truck Sonoma County. First, replace or clean your cars air filter. A clean filter can save you up to 10% in fuel efficiency. Next, get an two or four wheel alignment. Tires that do not track straight create resistance on the pavement which can result in a loss of up to 10% in fuel economy. We strongly suggest keeping your vehicle properly tuned up as a smooth running engine can save you as much as 4% in fuel.

Is my car driveable?

This is a very subjective question. "Is my car driveable"? We hear this question all the time when responding to accidents or mechanical breakdowns in Santa Rosa. Lets start with the obvious scenario of an auto accident. Maybe the fuel shut off switch activated during the collision and simply needs to be reset, or the bumper is slightly rubbing a tire and the tow operator can pull it from contact. We can handle both of those problems rather easily but there are times when the car could be "unsafe to drive".
