CTTA Light Duty Level 1 Training & Certification

Hello Sonoma County (and surrounding Redwood CTTA Chapter members). Just a reminder that the upcoming CTTA Level 1 Light Duty Training & Certification class is coming up on March 20th & 21st being held in Sebastopol. Registration is now being handled directly by CTTA out of their Palmsprings office. For more information on training and what the class entails check out CTTA's website at http://ctta.com and click on training.

This two day class will cover hands on recovery and roll over techniques, proper wrecker and flatbed hookups as well as State regulations for securement and towing. The in class instruction involves power point presentation, in class discussion and group analysis of scenarios involving all sorts of situations. The pass or fail test will be taken on Sunday and WHEN you do pass, CTTA will mail you a copy of your certification that is good for 3 years. Items covered will be safe towing capacity, recovery, load ratings, chain and nylon strap ratings, calculations of anchorability and lines to the load etc. Very fun and exciting stuff.

See you there.

I was lucky to find this yarbroughtow.com web site. I don't have much to add to the conversation, but I'm right here with you. This post said exactly what I have been thinking. Good to see you posting again.
